Vintage 14 kt gold lariat necklace

The box may be the best clue to this precious, antique necklace. Antique is a word reserved for items 100 years or older. From my research on line it appears Staples jewelry and optician was in Portland, OR on Morrison street circa 1916. The charming necklace is marked 14kt and the stones are well set and well cut. The length is 16” with a delicate drop of two beautifully faceted amber colored stones. They could be citrine, topaz, sapphire, or garnet. The small yellow stone is likely citrine and the pearls are called seed pearls. I bought this necklace second hand from a woman who had a small collection of very precious things.
